Sheriff’s Office Launches Investigation after Body Found near Monte Alto

NEAR MONTE ALTO – Hidalgo County Sheriff’s deputies are investigating after a body was found near Monte Alto.

Authorities confirm to CHANNEL 5 NEWS the body of a 20-year-old male was found near the intersection of FM 88 and Monte Cristo Road.

Jenna Palacios, the spokesperson for the Hidalgo County Sheriff’s Office, says the Justice of the Peace judge is ordering an autopsy.
