Starr County Sheriffs Deputies are asking for the public's help in finding a missing teen.

16-year-old Agustin Garcia was last seen Friday in Las Lomas, east of Rio Grande City around 5:30 in the evening.

His mother told deputies she last made contact with him around 8:30 the same night by cell phone.

Authorities are working with the family's cell phone provider to ping the teen's phone.
