WESLACO –Those who have children under 13 may be eligible for a tax credit, according to the Internal Service Revenue.

This applies to children staying at a summer day camp.

The IRS says costs associated with camp could be filed as an expense towards the child and dependent care credit.

The credit allows a deduction if you paid someone to care for your child while you are working or looking for work.

The IRS is urging those who may be eligible to speak with a tax professional.
