SAN BENITO - Security cameras were rolling as suspects stole thousands of dollars’ worth of material from a San Benito family business.

Jocelyne Perez owns a scrap metal business with her husband Jesus; they went back to work on Monday to an unpleasant surprise.

"It's a very horrible feeling because that's material that we store because we sell it at bulk," says Perez.

She says the burglars took copper and radiators, worth $4,000 of property material.

The alleged thieves wore masks, but once they passed the first camera they took them off.

Perez says she is thankful they invested in night vision surveillance cameras.

"…we were able to capture their faces and everything and how they're taking all the material," she says.

Perez filed a police report on Monday; she wants justice and hopes the thieves are caught soon.
