Valley Authorities Warning Drivers to be Cautious at Railroad Crossings

HARLINGEN – Cameron County authorities are warning drivers to be more cautious at railroad crossings.

A Cameron County deputy says they are patrolling the area and citing several drivers for violations.

According to the Federal Railroad Administration, since 2007, there have been 15 crashes involving trains in Cameron County and 31 in Hidalgo County.
