MCALLEN – A Rio Grande Valley doctor who was accused of health care fraud was in court again Thursday, as well as his wife.

Meisy Angelica Zamora’s attorney explained that his client is not a flight risk.

Alternatives were laid out on how to guarantee Zamora would not flee to Mexico, such as having her on 24-hour house arrest.

Judge Ricardo Hinojosa challenged the defense saying the probation office won’t know her every move, especially on weekends.

Bonds were also discussed for Zamora.
