A national tradition is continuing to honor veterans during the holiday season.

For the 13th year in a row, hundreds of volunteers came out to the Rio Grande Valley State Cemetery to place holiday wreaths on the graves of 2,000 soldiers.

CHANNEL 5's Cecilia Gutierrez was at the ceremony. She spoke to members of the community who came out to pay their respects.
