Valley Red Cross Volunteers to Assist People Affected by Imelda
HARLINGEN – Hundreds impacted by Tropical Storm Imelda aren't able to return home.
Many stayed in shelters, meaning hundreds are there helping.
American Red Cross volunteers were packed up and ready go to the flooded areas in Houston.
The five volunteers from the Rio Grande Valley are going to be helping in many of those shelters.
South Texas Chapter Executive Director Dr. David Luna explained more than 150 volunteers from across Texas are in the flooded areas.
