Vehicle Registration Regulation Suspended

WESLACO – Vehicle registration regulations in 58 counties were suspended due to Hurricane Harvey.

Gov. Greg Abbott and the Texas Department of Motor Vehicles announced the suspension on Thursday.

Both Cameron and Willacy counties are included in the list. People who reside in these counties will avoid penalties when it comes to vehicle registration and titling.

The suspension is currently set to last for 45 days.
