ALAMO – The city of Alamo is in stage two of their water conservation plan.
The city wants to remind residents of their city ordinance which states specific days they’re allowed to water.
Luciano Ozuna, the city manager, says anyone caught watering on a day not designated will face a citation.
"Purchasing water right now is very costly if you can find it, if there are entities that are willing to sell you the water," says Ozuna.
Ozuna says the city spends about $60,000 a year on extra water.
