RIO GRANDE CITY--One person was arrested for allegedly leading Rio Grande City police and DPS on a chase.

It happened after midnight in the area of FM 1017 and FM 490.

DPS used their helicopter to assist units on the ground as well as spikes. Rio Grande City police said the suspect had warrants out for his arrest.
