CITRUS CITY--DPS is investigating a 2-vehicle crash near Citrus City.

The crash happened Sunday night on Mile 7 and Iowa.

DPS Lt. Johnny Hernandez said a toddler was airlifted after being ejected. Seven people total were taken to the hospital.

Hernandez said one of the vehicles failed to yield the right of way.

DPS wants to remind people the importance of using seat belts.
