LA FERIA - Due to low distribution pressure, La Feria public water system customers are being asked to boil any water prior to consumption as per Texas Commission on Environmental Quality requirements.

To ensure destruction of all harmful bacteria and other microbes, water for drinking, cooking and ice making should be boiled for two minutes and cooled prior to use for drinking water or human consumption purposes.
