The Brownsville Police Department is looking for a man caught on camera stealing a car battery from a vehicle.

Camera footage shows the man opening the door of a Kia Soul parked at a residence and proceeds to open the hood of the car and take out the car battery.

The theft happened at Stanolind Avenue. Police are urging anyone with any information on the theft to call the Brownsville Crime Stoppers at 956-546-8477.
