BROWNSVILLE - Fire crews responded to a fire at a warehouse before 9 p.m. Saturday. 

The warehouse is located near 14th St. and Highway 48. 

Brownsville Fire Chief Jerret Sheldon tells CHANNEL 5 NEWS employees were inside at the time. 

Nobody was injured. 

Sheldon says a sprinkler system inside the building helped contain the fire. 

The building suffered smoke damage.
