ALAMO – An old water main line in Alamo is causing issues for those who live near it.

The pipe broke three times in different areas, prompting water interruptions throughout Wednesday and Thursday.

A resident says the rupture left him with some unexpected water in his property.

Luciano Ozuna, the city manager, says high demand for water during these hot months is proving to be too much for some of the pipes, which are mostly PVC pipes.

KRGV’s Steven Sarabia went to find how the water main line will be repaired.
