DPS Remind Drivers to Obey Road Closures
EDINBURG – Department of Public Safety officials warn drivers not to ignore barriers blocking flooded roadways.
An Edinburg woman says her neighborhood and nearby roads took in water overnight.
She says the drive to drop off her children at school Thursday morning took more time than usual due to many motorists detouring around blocked-off roads.
The agency says going around barriers is not only dangerous but could also come with a $200 fine.
