FBI Warns Parents about Dangers of Children’s Internet Usage
WESLACO – The FBI is warning parents to make sure to monitor their children’s internet behavior.
“We have seen an increase in the number of online threats here in the Rio Grande Valley throughout South Texas, Texas and throughout the nation,” says Michelle Lee, FBI public affairs officer.
The FBI believes this is due to the phenomenon of people feeling more empowered when they’re not face-to-face.
KRGV’s John Paul Barajas spoke with a local mother who is concerned as her children head back to school.
