UPDATE (7/16): The woman has filed a complaint with the U.S. Labor Department Wages and Hours Division.

Dr. Oladayo Sanusi sent a statement regarding the issue.

He says he has no intention of closing either of his medical practices.

He says he was aware she wanted to file a lawsuit and will cooperate.

HARLINGEN – A Rio Grande Valley mother says her employer owes her about $3,000 in back pay.

The mother of two says she wants the money that she earned working as a biller for Dr. Oladayo Sanusi in Harlingen.  

She tells CHANNEL 5 NEWS that her last paycheck was received on May 16.

KRGV’s John Paul Barajas reached out to the doctor for answers.
