RIO HONDO - It's been years in the making, but residents living near a toxic paint site are finally seeing results.

The trash and burnt paint cans in William Templeton’s property sat for over seven years.

Now, we can see the debris separated into piles and some of it now gone.

Bertha Galvan clearly remembers the fire of 2012.

She lives just a few houses down from this infamous property located at the intersection of FM 106 and FM 803.

The Texas Commission on Environmental Quality and the Attorney General's Office stepped-in to force Templeton to clean it up.

Signs of improvement are now evident at the property.

The goal is to remove the entire 600 cubic yards of waste material that sat idle on the property since 2012.
