Mexican Soldiers Aid US Border Agents in Drug Seizure near Brownsville
BROWNSVILLE – A drug stash seized after smugglers ferried it across the Rio Grande near Brownsville.
Border Patrol released photos from the scene.
CHANNEL 5 NEWS is told Mexican soldiers were seen working with the border agents.
About 200 pounds of marijuana was abandoned after the suspect crashed into a muddy riverbank and swam to Mexico.
