ELSA – The mourning continues for the victims of the fatal crash that killed an EMS first-responder.

The community came together for a second candlelight vigil for victims Felipe Huerta Jr. and Delia Cortines.

The community gathered at the Elsa Fire Department where KRGV’s Sierra Pizarro spoke to Cortines’ sister, Martha Flores.

“I feel very bad for what happened because this shouldn't have happened; she was going to the hospital,” says Flores.

She explains that Cortines was being transported to the hospital for bodily pain.

DUI suspect, Mitchell Trevino, 34, faces $750,000 in charges for the crash.
