The Pharr Fire Department is gearing up for their first-ever She's My Hero camp.

Attendees for the camp from Saturday will learn CPR skills and rescue techniques from the department's female firefighters.

The camp aims to inspire the young girls to consider a career in firefighting.

Registration is full, and the department is planning a second camp in August.
