Pharr Woman Says Parking Lot Overrun with Visitors’ Vehicles

PHARR – A Rio Grande Valley woman wants management at her apartment complex to give her an assigned parking space. 

Blanca Casas says parking at Pueblo Dorado Apartments in Pharr is so packed that sometimes she ends up sleeping in her car for her own safety.

She says part of the problem is that many vehicles are parked with visitor passes.

KRGV’s Christian von Preysing reached out to Vesta Corporation, which owns the apartment complex.

The company says they’ve surveyed the area and deemed enough space and unassigned spaces are available for vehicles.

The company says anyone who wants convenient parking in front of their homes can pay for a covered parking spot.
