MCALLEN – People lined the streets for blocks next to McCreery Airport for President Trump's arrival.

Crowds gathered early morning on North 10th Street as they waited for the president to land.

Supporters waved Trump flags and chanted for a border wall, hoping to catch a glimpse of the President.

"I never thought I would see him but I'm very happy to see him, very happy that he's giving us thought, and you know he's coming out here,"says local resident Mike Masso.

Some of the protesters are hoping the president’s visit will shift his views.
