SAN BENITO – A San Benito woman is concerned about the effect of recent rain on the nearby roads.

Many of the roads in the area are made of gravel. Some have holes which she says can cause damage to vehicles.

Resident Minerva Orduna says Green Valley Farms Drive in San Benito can be bumpy.

“We need to fix this. All the streets in this colony are horrible,” says Orduna. “The bus isn't coming here because there's a lot of water.”

KRGV’s Sierra Pizarro reached out to Cameron County Administrator David Garcia.

He says crews are drafting a plan which may include work to resurface the roads.
