South Padre Island Street Reconstruction Project to Start this Month
A street reconstruction project is set to begin in April.
It will bring improvements such as five foot sidewalks, improved drainage and more than 200 public parking spaces.
The project is projected to take seven and a half months to complete and is expected to cost around $1.4 million.
Public Works Director, Carlos Sanchez, said the improvements will provide the city with many benefits, including safety and mobility.

- East Atol Street
- East Lantana Street
- East Jupiter Lane
