MONTGOMERY, Ala. (AP) - Leon Daniels recorded 13 points and seven rebounds as Alabama State easily beat Texas Southern 79-55. Tobi Ewuosho added 13 points and eight rebounds for the Hornets, who held the Tigers to 29.8 percent shooting, the lowest mark of the season for an Alabama State opponent.
