WESLACO – The deadline to file taxes is here – Monday April 15 is the last day to file.

If you haven’t filed your taxes and need more time, you can request an extension.

The IRS will give you six more months to file without incurring a penalty if the extension is requested by the deadline.

IRS spokesperson says the best way to file for an extension is through their website.
