DONNA – Many thanks and tears are the result of simple gifts out of a car.

CHANNEL 5 NEWS encountered a woman who spent the day separated from family as they spread out for the holiday to shared their day giving back to neighbors.

Maria Pina says she had never done anything like this before.

"This is like the true meaning of Thanksgiving? Yes, it's giving," Pina said.
