MCALLEN – A Rio Grande Valley woman says problems with her A/C unit continue despite repairs.

Maria Barrera pays America Home Shield, a home insurance company, every month so contractors could evaluate and fix issues in her home.

She tells KRGV’s Angelo Vargas the last technician left things a mess and never finished the job.

“It is hot. It’s been hot for two weeks and a half,” Barrera says. “This is going to be my third week.”

When asked about Barrera’s case, the company told us they would send an email about her issue but we have yet to receive a response.
