Brownsville Man Sentenced for Mailing Cocaine

WESLACO – A Brownsville man was sentenced to more than decade in a Pennsylvania jail.

Dante Ivan Lozano is accused of mailing dozens of pounds of cocaine to two people on the east coast.

According to court documents, between 2011 and 2015, Lozano mailed the narcotics to residents in Allegheny County, Pennsylvania.

The drug profits were then allegedly sent back to Texas through money orders.

Prosecutors said they are working on convicting the cocaine recipients.
