Missing San Benito Children Found Safe
SAN BENITO - Two San Benito children reported missing last week have been found safe in Mexico.
San Benito Police Chief Michael Galvan confirmed 11-year-old Alondra Sanchez Rosales and her 15-year-old brother, Brandon Rosales Sanchez are with their mother in Matamoros.
Investigators said they were able to track down the family with help of the United States consulate in Matamoros.
The investigation will be turned over to Mexican authorities.
Galvan said the children and their mother are Mexican nationals, and will not be extradited back to the U.S.
