Autopsy Ordered after Body of Man Found in Starr Co.

RIO GRANDE CITY – An investigation is underway in Rio Grande City after a body was discovered.

A police officer was flagged down near 3rd Street and Fairgrounds Road at approximately 5:30 p.m. Thursday.

Officials were able to identify the deceased male, but are withholding his name until they notify the next of kin.

An autopsy was ordered.
