Border Patrol Agents Seize 199 Pounds of Marijuana in Roma
ROMA – Border Patrol agents apprehended three men carrying bundles of marijuana south of Efren Ramirez Road in Roma Saturday.
Border Patrol seized four large bundles with a combined weight of 199 pounds of marijuana and detained the three suspects.
Starr County HIDTA Task Force investigators arrested the three Mexican nationals identified as Jesus Del Angel Rivera, Zuriel Constantino-Escamilla and David Ortiz-Mora.
All three individuals were charged with possession of marijuana and taken to the Starr County Detention Center.
This case is still pending investigation.
