Crews Begin $2.7M Drainage Project in Edinburg

EDINBURG – The city of Edinburg is taking steps to alleviate flooding in the city.

City officials broke ground on a $2.7 million drainage project.

The project will add bigger drainage pipes to Sprague Street, where flooding has been a problem.

City officials started the project on the street after a survey from residents in the area about flooding.

The project is set to last several months.
