WESLACO – The FBI is warning businesses about threats from foreign hackers.  

The agency wants people to be careful when it comes to keeping intellectual properties and trade secrets safe.

“There’s bots out there right now that are automatically infecting machines. There are hackers out there in foreign nation, foreign nations that are actually trying to compromise businesses,” says Supervisory Special Agent Matthew Perry.

He warns hackers can steal information about products and recreate them cheaper.
