Laredo Border Patrol Agent Accused of Murder Pleads Not Guilty
UPDATE (5:00p.m.): The border patrol agent accused of killing four people pleads not guilty.
The District Attorney says they are pursuing the death penalty on the capital murder charge if Juan David Ortiz is convicted.
LAREDO – A Laredo Border Patrol agent turned murder suspect will head to court Thursday.
Prosecutors say Juan David Ortiz killed four people last year.
Ortiz will be asked to enter a plea on the charges.
Prosecutors are seeking the death penalty.
The formal arraignment is set for Thursday.
