Man Charged in Auto-Pedestrian Accident that Claimed Child's Life in Pharr

UPDATE (3/16): Brandon Adame went before a judge in Pharr Saturday afternoon.

He was charged with injury to a child.

Bond was set at $250,000.

PHARR - Police are investigating an auto-pedestrian crash in Pharr that took the life of a child.

The incident happened Friday on West Albatross Avenue near Cage Boulevard.

Police say a man drove into the child as he was speeding away from an argument.

Authorities say he left the scene, but police were able to track him down.

The child died at the hospital.

According to one of the neighbors, the victim was a toddler.

The driver has been detained and the case is under investigation.
