MCALLEN – An investigation is underway at a medical supply store in McAllen.

Investigators with the Texas Attorney General’s Office were seen Tuesday morning taking out a dolly full of boxes from the business, which is located at 608 North McColl Road.

A CHANNEL 5 NEWS crew was present when a family was turned away from DME Express. The family said they usually visit the store to buy their son’s pampers.

We also saw some employees from the DME Express come to work with a surprised look on their faces.

A DME Express manager said authorities were taking some patient files. For now, they’re waiting on more information from their owner.

We are also waiting to get more details confirmed with the attorney general’s office about the investigation.
