Mission Man Pleads Guilty to Meth Charge

MCALLEN – A 27-year-old Mission man will spend more than eight years in federal custody. 

Bryon Olivera pled guilty to possessing with the intent to distribute methamphetamine.

Olivera was arrested back in November of 2015 when police found him outside a house holding a gun.

Police searched the house and a vehicle and found two additional pistols, two shotguns, two assault rifles, multiple rounds of ammunition and meth.

Olivera admitted the firearms and ammunition were destined for Mexico and the methamphetamine was to be distributed further in the U.S.
