RAYMONDVILLE – A Raymondville man says his beloved dog, “Snowflake” has returned to his original home after getting loose and getting adopted by another family.

CHANNEL 5 NEWS first reported about Hector Perez and his situation earlier this month. Snowflake had jumped over the fence and didn’t come back. Later, they say animal control told him Snowflake had been adopted by another family.

Last week, Perez says Snowflake showed up back in their front yard again. It was the second time he’s made his way back to the Perez family home since he was adopted by the other family. This time around, police and animal control showed up at the door.

The children were home when police arrived, they didn’t open the door because they claim officials never identified themselves and were scared when “they were pounding on the door.”

The new owners reported Snowflake was stolen during a burglary, according to police.
