WESLACO – The Secretariat of Communications and Transportation is offering a newly improved application that will help people traveling into Mexico stay safe.

The Mexican Consulate in McAllen says Mappir Mexico offers travelers a way to map out their destination from point A to point B while avoiding dangerous routes.

The site also offers information for services in Mexico such as emergency numbers.
