PALMVIEW – Palmview police are searching for a suspect who held up a taco restaurant at gunpoint.

Palmview Police Chief Chris Barrera said the suspect drove to the Taqueria La Nortena, located at the intersection of west bound frontage and FM 492, in a black vehicle, possibly a 2014 Dodge Charger.

A Hispanic man wearing a blue hoodie and a rag to cover his face walked into the restaurant and pointed a gun while demanding money.

He threatened customers before running out of the restaurant and driving away, heading west.
