EDINBURG - Voters are heading to the polls across the Rio Grande Valley.

Polls will open up at 7:00 a.m. on Tuesday.

If you're heading out to vote, remember a photo ID is required.

IDs can't be more than four years expired for voters younger than 70.

Residents can use their driver's license, state election ID certificate, a Texas personal ID, a U.S. Military ID card, U.S. Citizenship certificate or passport.

CHANNEL 5 NEWS will be closely watching a number of races.

There are mayoral seats up for grabs in Alamo, Edcouch, La Joya, and Weslaco.

There are also 10 state propositions on the ballots.
