Regional Alert Issued for 2-Year-Old Mission Girl

MISSION – A regional alert has been issued by Hidalgo County for a 2-year-old girl of Mission.

Lizsandra Jennica Gaytan was last seen on the 3000 block of Pradera St. Thursday morning.

She’s described as Hispanic and has brown eyes and black hair.

The suspect is identified as 22-year-old Elizabeth K Morales, according to a press release sent out earlier today.

She’s described as 5 feet 4 inches tall, weighs about 140 and has brown eyes and brown hair.

Morales and her mother, 68-year-old Elizabeth Guerrero, were with the child when they were involved in an aggravated assault with a motor vehicle in Mission.

Authorities said the women fled in a 2002 silver Acura MDX with license plates HJM-5905.
