EDINBURG - Monday is the last day to register to vote for the Nov. 5 elections.

There are 10-state constitutional amendments on the ballots, plus some local mayoral races.

The Hidalgo County Election Administration Office in Edinburg will stay open an extra hour today for the last day of registration.

DPS offices have been allowing people to send their information to the elections office when making changes to their driver's license.

Cameron, Willacy and Starr County elections offices close at 5:00 p.m.

Early voting starts Oct. 21 and continues until Nov. 1.
