BROWNSVILLE – Two people are behind bars in connection to a health care fraud case surrounding a Rio Grande Valley doctor.

A federal court indictment names Felix Ramos and Estella Santos Natera, two employees of Dr. Jorge Zamora-Quezada’s medical practice.

Quezada is accused of funneling money to a different bank account with the intent to conceal the source of funds, documents say.

He and his wife, Meisy Zamora, now face charges of obstruction of justice and conspiracy to commit money laundering.
