A woman was arrested on a charge of driving while intoxicated and possession of a controlled substance after crashing her vehicle into a Mission hair salon.

The crash occurred on Friday at around 11:34 a.m. in the 300 block of North Shary Road.

Police said a woman was driving a black 2020 Ford Edge when it collided with EZ Cuts. The driver was hospitalized along with another woman who was inside the business at the time of the crash.

The incident remains under investigation.
