Fire at Alamo Recycling Center to cause road closures

The Alamo Fire Department is informing drivers of road closures due to the fire at the Alamo Recycling Center.

The fire department will be bringing in water tankers to help put out the smoldering fire. The Val Verde exit will be closed, as well as eastbound Frontage Road in front of the recycling center.
Officials say the road closures could last for several hours and are urging drivers to find alternative routes.
